Who we are
Callout Ltd provides an AI phone answering service for trade businesses in the UK. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number: [TO ADD]).
What we collect
For our customers (trade businesses): account details, business settings, and billing information (card details are held by Stripe, never by us). For callers to our customers: name, phone number, address, the nature of the job, call recordings and transcripts. Our customers are the data controllers of their callers' data; we are the processor.
Call recordings
Every caller is told at the start of the call that it may be recorded. Recordings are kept for 90 days and then automatically deleted; transcripts are retained after that. Callers may request deletion of their recording at any time and we action this within 30 days.
Where data lives
All data is hosted in the UK/EU (database in London). Our sub-processors include Supabase, Twilio, Vapi, Stripe and Vercel — each under a data processing agreement.
Your rights
